Single trip and annual policies both cover up to £1,500 per person in personal possessions (subject to a single item limit of £250 and a total valuables limit of £250), personal money up to £500 per adult (up to a cash limit of £250), up to £5 million in medical and emergency expenses abroad, up to £2 million per policy in personal liability and up to £25,000 per person in personal accident cover and legal expenses.

There’s also up to £5,000 per person for cancellation or curtailment and up to £250 for loss of passport. And if you add Winter Sports Cover to your Direct Line Single or Annual policy, then up to £500 per person for ski equipment and £20 per person per day in the event of piste closures and for ski passes and fees is also included.
