Holiday Insurance
Whether you’re looking to cover a single holiday this year, or planning several trips, or even going travelling for a few months, Direct Line has travel insurance that could meet your needs. And it needn’t cost the earth. Our Single Trip and Annual travel insurance policies are offered at great value prices and there’s also an automatic discount for buying online.
Single trip and annual policies both cover up to £1,500 per person in personal possessions (subject to a single item limit of £250 and a total valuables limit of £250), personal money up to £500 per adult (up to a cash limit of £250), up to £5 million in medical and emergency expenses abroad, up to £2 million per policy in personal liability and up to £25,000 per person in personal accident cover and legal expenses.
There’s also up to £5,000 per person for cancellation or curtailment and up to £250 for loss of passport. And if you add Winter Sports Cover to your Direct Line Single or Annual policy, then up to £500 per person for ski equipment and £20 per person per day in the event of piste closures and for ski passes and fees is also included. So if you’re planning a last-minute, late skiing break, Get A Quote from Direct Line.
And because Direct Line is a Good Deal Better, there are a whole host of reasons that our holiday insurance is even better value. On annual policies, for example children are covered to travel independently on school trips (as long as supervised by an adult), items such as watches and sunglasses are covered. We even cover a wide range of activities e.g scuba diving up to 18 metres, boat towed parascending and white water rafting up to grade 3. Therefore please call us to find out what cover we offer.
At Direct Line, we’ve also tried to simplify the process of making a claim. Most claims don't need a claim form. Simply call our helpline, or our 24-hour emergency hotline if it’s out of hours and we’ll deal with your claim quickly and fairly.
